This book supports aspiring school leaders by helping them prepare for their certification exam and current school leaders by connecting them with case study examples to enhance their practice. As such, it may be utilized as an educational leadership course text, for building level professional development of administrators, or individually by a person wishing to further their skills.

Limited case study resources exist for aspiring and current building level leaders. This book provides relevant and timely case studies for the development of aspiring and current leaders written by experts in the field. It includes case studies aligned to the National Educational Leadership Preparation Program (NELP) Building Standards and Educational Testing Service (ETS) School Leader Licensure Assessment (SLLA 6990) exam. Each chapter presents a fictional case aligned to the NELP/SLLA standard components of the author’s(s’) choosing.
